Training: Overview

TDMWebAcademy Online Training Program offers an intradisciplinary curriculum that provides opportunities for individuals to learn about for-profit and non-profit entrepreneurship. The goal of the program is to provide participants with the knowledge and skills set necessary to recognize and develop opportunities to start, sustain and grow their own business venture.

The TDM WebAcademy Online Training offers four programs of study:

Small Business Development Curriculum: A program of study that is designed to provide startup and emerging for-profit businesses with the prospective, knowledge, and training necessary to grow a business from start-up to success. The series of webinars examines a variety of topics that focus on the entrepreneurial development processes such as: quantitative and qualitative characteristic of a successful entrepreneur, steps in starting a business, business plan blueprint and strategies in developing a successful business enterprise. Non-Profit Capacity Building Curriculum: A program of study designed to provide start-up and emerging non-profit organizations with the knowledge and skills necessary to increase an organization's sustainability and effectiveness, enhance its ability to provide quality services, and create collaborative partnerships. The series of webinars examines a variety of topics that focus on leadership development, organizational development, program development, public policy and community engagement. Personal and Professional Development Curriculum: A program of study that is designed to provide individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to grow both personally and professionally.
