The Give Back Entrepreneur Initiative (GBEI)

The TDMWebacademy Give Back Entrepreneur Initiative (GBEI) is a program that offer opportunities for communities to bridge the gap between the potential entrepreneur and access to training. The GBEI program is committed to nurturing the growth of start-up and emerging businesses around the country through community partnerships and business training programs. Our goal through the GBEI program is make training available to small businesses and entrepreneurs in the country. Through effective community partnerships we will build entrepreneurships and small business capacity, particularly those in low to moderate income communities.

TDMWebacademy is seeking to partner with several communities to assist in advancing community strategies that aid small businesses development. Through this initiative we will:

• Provide scholarships for one start-up or emerging small business to participate in a webinar per month listed on the TDMWebAcademy Online Training Program.
• Assist community partners in customizing a TDMWebAcademy Online Training Program that meets their community needs.
• Offer discounts to those individuals that are not eligible for a scholarship and seeks to attend TDMWebAcademy Online Training Program.

We plan to work with selected community-based organizations to recruit and train small business entrepreneurs. Selected community organizations must fulfill the following roles and responsibilities:

• Offer a scholarship to an individual that is interested in online business training and is from a low to moderate income level.
• Distribute copies of training materials and resources to participants
• Provide completed evaluation forms and participant information sheets to TDMWebacademy within 30 days of the training.

The GBEI program is our way of reaching out to potential entrepreneurs and making an impact on our communities by offering one free training session to help make their conceptual ideas a reality. We encourage and support entrepreneurs who have a bold vision to start a new business, for-profit, or not-for-profit.
